OUR MISSION The mission of Leadership Lorain County is to foster life-long leaders who serve as catalysts for positive change. OUR VALUES •Inspiration •Commitment •Civic Engagement •Collaboration •Passion ABOUT US Established in 1984 as an initiative of the Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County, Leadership Lorain County has over 1,300 alumni from the first class of 1985 to the class of 2025. The objective of LLC is to improve the quality and effectiveness of community leadership by: Identifying and bringing together a diverse cross section of emerging and existing leaders who are committed to community service, trusteeship and improving the quality of life in Lorain County. Offering class participants expanded knowledge and awareness of existing and emerging community issues, needs, challenges, and resources through direct contact with a spectrum of people, places, and organizations. Providing a means of communication and networking among diverse sections of the community. Offering a permanent forum of individuals available to exchange ideas and take on effective roles in addressing community needs. OUR VISION Leadership Lorain County will be the primary resource to connect the hearts of business, education and philanthropy throughout our region. We are dedicated to developing life-long leaders, passionate about improving the vitality of the county, able to lead initiatives within the dynamics of our community, all while helping their own organizations become a valued partner in the resurgence of Lorain County.
