Lake & Cobb, P.L.C. was founded in July of 2000 by Greg Lake and Rick Cobb, who have each been peer-reviewed by other attorneys as “A/V” lawyers in the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory. Since the firm was founded, it has expanded and added additional partners including Joel Sannes, Kris Bailey, Don Fletcher and Joe Glenn. With these partners and others, Lake and Cobb is able to handle complicated litigation, real estate, bankruptcy and other legal matters. Clients include home builders, developers, insurance companies, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, investors, technology companies and publicly traded companies from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The firm makes extensive use of technology to better serve its clients. It was one of the first firms in Arizona to develop a system for digitally imaging the thousands of documents handled in a busy commercial law practice so that the documents are accessible from the attorneys’ desktops or remotely. Its conference rooms are set up with networked screens so that electronic documents can be reviewed and edited “live” in meetings with clients. During trial and hearings, the attorneys and paralegals use electronic and other media to communicate complex and difficult concepts to the jury in a way that makes them understandable. The firm is also leveraging cloud technology to allow its attorneys to work from their clients’ offices, the courtroom, or any other location to better serve their clients.
