The Los Angeles Philharmonic, known as the LA Phil, is a performing arts organization based in Los Angeles, California, with a history spanning more than a century. It operates four major venues—the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, The Ford, and the Beckmen YOLA Center in Inglewood—through which it presents performances by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. The LA Phil also runs YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles), a music-learning program that has provided instruments, education, and opportunities to thousands of local students and families. Its work extends beyond the stage into the community, reflecting Los Angeles' diverse musical traditions and using music to foster connections. In 2026 the organization announced the appointment of Vineta Sareika as concertmaster, who will join the orchestra for the 2026/27 season.
