Kurtosis Technologies is writing the next chapter in the history of software development through innovative new approaches to environment management. Our first tool (https://github.com/kurtosis-tech/kurtosis) enables developers to encapsulate the deployment logic for a containerized application, optimized for handling dynamic set-up logic and passing data between containers as the application starts. This tool has proven to be most useful for blockchain systems, where some of the largest players in the space including the Ethereum Foundation use it to test the deepest, most complicated protocol changes. We are now working on Kardinal (https://kardinal.dev), a novel approach to environment management with the goal of maximizing proximity to the production environment throughout the software development lifecycle.
