Kupu is a Honolulu-based environmental services nonprofit established in 2007 as a 501(c)3 organization that focuses on engaging young adults and emerging professionals in conservation, sustainability, and environmental education through hands-on training and national service opportunities. Since its founding, Kupu has provided hands-on training to more than 4,000 participants and facilitated over 3 million hours of service, including planting over 1 million native plants and removing more than 100,000 acres of invasive species.
