The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra is a professional ensemble based in Knoxville, Tennessee, delivering orchestral performances and related educational experiences across East Tennessee. Led by Music Director Aram Demirjian, the orchestra comprises 80 professional musicians and presents more than 200 concerts each season to an audience of over 200,000, across venues such as the Tennessee Theatre, Bijou Theatre, and Civic Auditorium, with additional programs in hospitals, schools, parks, and churches. Entering its 90th season, the organization maintains a focus on artistic excellence and community impact.

Its work targets concertgoers and students throughout East Tennessee through both mainstage performances and outreach initiatives. In 2020, the organization launched the Young Friends of the Symphony subscription program to broaden access and engage younger audiences.
