The K&M Center was created by Karen Fried, Psy.D. and Melissa Mullin, Ph.D. in 1994 with the mission of helping students learn to their potential. Each child who arrives at the K&M Center is seen as an individual with a unique learning style and talents, and receives a tailored treatment plan addressing the specific areas needing remediation. The joy of helping children learn to do well in school, and in life, motivates us to provide the best learning center possible. Our Educational Specialists and Academic Coaches work with parents, teachers, tutors and any other professionals working with the child to create a program that truly works for that child. The K&M Center's Educational Specialists bring the latest in educational theory and practice from their graduate studies and their hands-on experience teaching children and adolescents. Equally important, having a professionally staffed Center allows the K&M Center to continue researching, testing, and providing the best new programs in all areas of cognitive processing and academic skills that can benefit students.
