Hi! We’re Kibou. We’re moms who want to spend more time simply enjoying our little ones, & Less time... Frustrated by… Weighed down by… Organizing… Double checking... Running back across the playground for... STUFF. We’re moms who know the challenges of just getting out the door, & who now know the joy of having our hands and minds free to focus on what really matters. We are Nell Shapiro and Stephanie Merks, and we met in our Brooklyn neighborhood when our oldest boys were 6 months old. As new moms living in a city where we walked everywhere, we bonded over many things, including our search for the perfect diaper bag. So when Nell had the idea to develop her own minimal diaper bag solution, she knew Steph was exactly the partner she needed to bring the beauty and brand of the bag to life. We hit the ground running and spent the next 2 years designing, surveying, testing and tweaking to find the perfect balance between fashion and function.
