The Key West Art & Historical Society is a nonprofit organization based in Key West, Florida, dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and presenting the art, architecture, and history of the Florida Keys for residents and visitors. It oversees three nationally significant sites—the Fort East Martello site, the Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters, and the Custom House, which opened in 1999—and maintains a substantial collection for research and public exhibition. For more than six decades, the society has prioritized safeguarding historic structures and artifacts that reflect the Keys' history. The organization engages a broad audience through programs such as ArtCamp, Community Day, Art!Key West!, Fridays on Front, Hemingway Days, and other activities that serve diverse groups of all ages. In October 2023, the organization hired Hambright as curator.
