The Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo) is a Frankfort, Kentucky-based organization serving all 120 counties and more than 1,500 county officials. It provides access to programs and services spanning insurance, financial and legislative services, as well as continuing education, to meet the diverse needs of county governance. Positioned in the government relations sector, KACo coordinates resources and advocacy to support county administration and public policy.
In April 2026, KACo launched the KACo Opioid Solutions Network, a leadership cohort of about 20 counties including Graves, to address opioid-related challenges with innovative and evidence-based approaches. The association also pursues partnerships to extend member benefits, such as a Midway University tuition program for employees and members, and a 2023 initiative with Bachman Chevrolet to provide fleet management services through its Leasing Trust program.
