Keepers of the Wild is a small nonprofit focused on the protection and welfare of captive wildlife, including animals that have faced abuse, neglect, or retirement from captivity. It maintains a permanent sanctuary and provides a high standard of care to rescued animals, emphasizing humane treatment. The organization also prioritizes wildlife and environmental preservation, using education and public outreach to address animal suffering and discourage keeping wild animals as pets or exploiting them in show business.

Based in Valentine, Arizona, it operates as a nonprofit dedicated to animal welfare. By offering a true sanctuary, it provides a permanent home for animals it rescues instead of leaving them in unstable conditions. In December 2017, Keepers of the Wild was recognized as a Best Charity to donate to in the animal welfare category.
