Insights

Expanding Advocacy Reach Justice in Aging’s recent initiatives, including launching new video series and specialized policy projects like the Data for Equity Fellowship and reentry programs, demonstrate their ongoing efforts to broaden advocacy and education. This indicates a growing need for digital tools, content management, and online engagement solutions to support their expanding outreach and training activities.

Strategic Funding Growth Receiving significant federal funding of over 1 million dollars for initiatives such as the National Center on Law and Elder Rights signals increased operational scope and project scale. This funding injection presents opportunities for software providers or consultants to assist with grant management, reporting, or project execution enhancements.

Focus on Data-Driven Advocacy The launch of the Data for Equity Fellowship highlights Justice in Aging’s emphasis on leveraging data for better policy analysis. Companies offering data analytics, research tools, or data visualization platforms could find a compelling market in supporting their mission to transform policy advocacy through technological innovation.

Potential Collaborations Partnerships with organizations like the National Alliance to End Homelessness suggest opportunities for joint initiatives and technology collaborations aimed at addressing homelessness and housing security for older adults. Vendors with solutions in case management, housing services, or social support platforms might find strategic partnership prospects here.

Target Demographic Engagement Justice in Aging’s focus on underserved communities such as racial minorities, women, LGBTQ+ elders, and immigrants points to a demand for culturally competent digital solutions, multilingual platforms, and community engagement tools. These can enhance outreach, education, and advocacy efforts targeted at vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations.

Justice in Aging is a national organization advocating for the health and economic security of our country’s low-income older adults, especially women, people of color, and other traditionally disadvantaged communities.

Since inception in 1972 as the National Senior Citizens Law Center, operating a small office of a handful of attorneys in Los Angeles, we’ve grown into Justice in Aging with a presence all over the nation. From our three home base offices in Washington, DC, Los Angeles and Oakland, CA, our attorneys employ their deep expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, LTSS, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income to provide training and technical assistance to over 20,000 aging professionals each year and design and implement strategic advocacy initiatives that impact millions of seniors.

Our advocacy ranges from litigation that preserves essential health and income benefits to policy advocacy focused on better integration of the health care and long term services and supports (LTSS) delivery systems.
