Just Like Home is an independently owned and operated company specializing in short-term housing. It maintains an extensive inventory of short-term housing, including apartments, houses, extended-stay suites, homestays and roommate referral. Just Like Home services business and medical professionals, scholars, fellows, researchers, interns, and students. Its headquarter is in Silver Spring, Maryland; however, it services various markets around the country, including the Washington DC Metro area, CA, FL, IL, MA, and NY. 

Just Like Home operates under the concept that cross-cultural experiences broaden the understanding among people around the world. Through our international program, it strives to build bridges of understanding among different cultures with the anticipation of a better and peaceful world. This is primarily achieved by providing the opportunity for international visitors to live with American housing providers.

Housing providers are the foundation of our homestay program. Its network of providers, comprised of retirees ("empty-nesters"), single parents, young couples and single individuals, have the unique opportunity to experience the world without leaving their homes. Some of the reasons providers open their homes include the educational value, the opportunity to earn/ supplement their income and for companionship, especially in the case of seniors. The lasting friendships that are formed are perhaps the most valuable part of the experience.
