The Junta de Andalucía is the regional government authority responsible for organizing the autonomous government of the Community of Andalusia in Spain, comprising the Presidency, the Council of Government, and the Parliament. It exercises legislative and executive powers within the competencies defined by its Statute of Autonomy and delivers essential public services such as education, health, employment, social services, and housing. It also administers processes and services for businesses, including support for entrepreneurship and innovation, registrations, authorizations, and public tenders. Recent actions illustrate its ongoing role in regional development, including the Green Hydrogen Roadmap developed with the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Alliance, which encompasses 23 projects and targets 3.7 GW of electrolysis capacity, about a third of Spain's national target. In public health and service delivery, it has announced measures such as free unlimited WiFi in all public hospitals and continues to collaborate with industry partners, such as ISMC Iberiamine, to strengthen innovation ecosystems linked to critical raw materials.
