The JourneyCare Foundation was founded in 1992 to provide financial assistance to the growing agency of JourneyCare. Over the years, donations made by our supportive community members have allowed the agency to develop its nationally recognized pediatric program and an integrative services program, expand its grief support services for families, and, more recently, build the first green, free-standing hospice home in the state of Illinois, in addition to supporting research and education for the community.\r\n \r\nThrough its fundraising efforts, JourneyCare Foundation makes it possible to keep one of our most important promises: never to turn anyone away because of inability to pay. As important, our Foundation support focuses on enhancing quality of life for our patients and families.
