Joral LLC designs and manufactures magnetic encoders in both shafted and non-shafted forms, along with position and tilt sensors. The company has served as an OEM supplier for timber-harvesting equipment and other machinery, counting CAT and John Deere among its customers. Its first shafted encoder entered service in January 2005 after a customer asked for longer field life, and in 2007 they introduced the non-contact Hockey Puck encoder, with later higher pulse-rate variants in 18mm and 30mm form factors. The latest development is a field-programmable magnetic encoder that can be configured with a simple button press and shaft rotation.
