Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the Jewish Federation of Greater Nashville serves as the central voluntary organization for the local Jewish community across Nashville and the broader Middle Tennessee region. It coordinates fundraising, planning, and community-relations activities, doing so either independently or in partnership with other Jewish organizations to promote the welfare, vitality, and cohesion of Jewish life in the area. The federation also aims to ensure the continuity of the Jewish people locally, in Israel, and around the world. Operating as a small to mid-sized nonprofit in the civic and social sector, the organization serves the local Jewish community and its partners. In April 2026, it announced integration with Secure Community Network and appointed John Curatolo as Regional Security Advisor for the Nashville region, a role created to strengthen security and resilience through SCN's national network. This collaboration is intended to support safer, more resilient community life in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
