Jefferson Community College is a public higher education institution located in Watertown, New York, and part of the State University of New York system. Its service area is largely rural, with agriculture and tourism as the dominant industries, and it is the only higher education campus within about 50 miles of Watertown. The college offers a mix of career-oriented degrees, transfer pathways, and certificates, including several programs available entirely online. The college maintains articulation agreements with colleges nationwide and partners with SUNY Potsdam on jointly registered programs to facilitate transfer and broaden local access to four-year degrees through its Higher Education Center initiative.
