The Singapore campus of James Cook University operates as a private higher education institution, fully owned by James Cook University Australia, which established the campus in 2003 to extend its international presence and is located at 149 Sims Drive in the Central Region. It offers a broad suite of university-level programs across disciplines including business, information technology, psychology, guidance and counselling, science, commerce, accounting, aquaculture, environmental science, cybersecurity, economics, tourism and hospitality. The campus has earned EduTrust Star, the highest level of quality assurance for private education institutions in Singapore, and it was the first organization to attain the designation, with the award renewed through 2023. In October 2024, James Cook University Singapore announced a strategic partnership with IIM Shillong, reflecting ongoing collaboration beyond its Singapore operations.
