J Banks Design is a full-scale interior design firm of over 55 employees and an industry leader in interior design.  For over thirty-six years, our professionally degreed designers have captured and delivered our client’s vision for their  interiors, creating spaces that are designed for their demographic. Our interiors exude luxury without pretense, casual  sophistication and a comfortable elegance.

Our story is told through our work, which is enhanced and made possible through our relationships with our clients,  many of whom we have worked with over decades on multiple projects. These relationships have enabled us to grow,  garnering accolades for our work and ranking in the top 75 Hospitality Firms and top 200 Interior Design Firms in the U.S. for over 16 years.

Based in Hilton Head Island, we live, breathe, and experience the resort lifestyle as we work and play. Resort hospitality  is our specialty, and we bring a unique sense of place to each property. We love watching people gather, connect, and linger in the spaces we have crafted, while using the spaces precisely as we imagined they would when we designed them.

Our associates are located across the U.S. and work to create beautiful interiors domestically and internationally, including projects in Mexico, Canada, Ireland, England and Italy.
