Izumi International, Inc. was founded in 1977 in Greenville, South Carolina, the center of the US textile trade, and established itself by providing cutting-edge technology primarily for the Japanese Water Jet & Air Jet weaving machines. Shortly after opening, Izumi began carrying the winding machines made by Kamitsu Seisakusho, Ltd. in Japan, for the carbon fiber industries. 

After nearly 40 years, we now offer various kinds of winders, creels, warp & weft feeding & tensioning devices for carbon fiber & other critical high performance fibers in the U.S.A. and Europe. In the late 1980’s, we were one of the first distributors for THK, the leader in linear motion guides. Continuously improving, Izumi branched into the automation field, adding aluminum extrusion modular automation systems, & table top & scara robots for factory automation. Our newest partnerships are with Musashi, makers of super precision fluid dispensers and Moltec, offering wire and cable protection with the patented Grip Lock technology. In 2013 we launched the new 3D Dispensing Robot for bioengineering applications; an outgrowth of 10 years from developing automation.

Our sales staff and customer support are ready to assist you in English, Japanese, or Spanish. Our mechanical and electrical engineers will assist you in selection of a component or completely design a custom machine for your needs. Our technicians service machinery in the field, install new equipment as well as servicing older machinery.

Izumi International, Inc. offers light machining capabilities and various forms of cutting. We design and assemble all machinery built from the Robotunits Modular Automation System, as well as our composite machinery and all custom designed machinery in Greenville SC. Izumi performs before shipment trials and quality checks as standard operation procedure.
