Italferr S.p.A. is a civil engineering firm within the Italian State Railways group Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, with three decades of experience at the forefront of Italian engineering for rail and transport infrastructure. It operates in Italy and internationally, undertaking large-scale projects in conventional and high-speed rail, metropolitan transit, road networks, and the design and engineering of ports and stations. The company offers a full project lifecycle service range—from engineering design and contracting to construction site management, testing and commissioning of railway lines, stations, intermodal facilities, and logistics hubs—with additional capabilities in project management, organizational consulting, training, and know-how transfer. Based in Rome in the Lazio region, Italferr serves clients in the rail and transport sector seeking integrated engineering and project delivery.

In 2025, Italferr formed a joint venture with Lombardi SA to handle the design and project management consulting for the Rishikesh-Karnaprayag railway line. The collaboration demonstrates the company's ongoing international engagement in major rail infrastructure projects.
