Italac operates within the dairy segment as part of the Goiasminas group, and it was founded in January 1996 by five brothers. The company opened its first manufacturing facility in Corumbaíba, Goiás, and expanded to a national operation. Its core product line includes long-life milk in whole, semi-skimmed, and skim varieties, which quickly established itself as a reference for quality.

It maintains manufacturing facilities across Goiás, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Rondônia, Pará, and Paraná. It works with more than 15 thousand rural producers and operates one of Brazil's largest milk-collection basins, with capacity above 7 million liters per day. The portfolio features over 150 products and reaches more than 20 thousand points of sale nationwide, with Cardoso, São Paulo as its base.
