The National Capital Chapter of the ISSA is a small local professional association for information security professionals in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Its members work in government agencies, the military, nonprofit organizations, and in both large and small companies. The chapter conducts regular meetings at various locations around the D.C. region, providing opportunities for professional development and peer support.

Membership is open to practicing security professionals as well as to individuals with an interest in the field. The organization is based in Washington, D.C., and maintains a website at issa-dc.org.
