ISEF – Israel Scholarship Education Foundation is a fundraising organization focused on expanding access to higher education for underserved communities in Israel. Since its founding in 1977, it has supported thousands of students from disadvantaged backgrounds across degree levels from BA to PhD, with a long-term commitment that accompanies scholars from enrollment through graduation and beyond, including advanced study or postdoctoral work. The organization emphasizes identifying high-potential students and pairing them with leadership training, community service programs, and an on-campus support network that helps ensure persistence and degree completion. By enabling scholars to pursue higher education and subsequently mentor at-risk teens, ISEF aims to contribute to both individual advancement and broader social impact within Israel. The foundation is based in New York, New York, and operates within the fundraising sector, positioning itself as a comprehensive support system for scholars rather than a sole scholarship grantor.
