Iron Grip Barbell Company designs and manufactures commercial free-weight equipment in the United States, including dumbbells, fixed barbells, weight plates, and Olympic bars. All production occurs in its own facilities, using proprietary processes, materials, and equipment, and the company has a long history—over 30 years in the market. It was the first to offer Olympic plates with integrated handgrips and has incorporated design innovations such as urethane, hard chrome, and custom engraving.

Its equipment is used by premier fitness facilities in more than 95 countries, spanning major health clubs, independent gyms, high schools and colleges, pro sports teams, hotels and resorts, corporate fitness centers, medical wellness facilities, and police, firefighter, and military fitness programs. In 2023, the company expanded its offices to Texas to bolster manufacturing capacity while maintaining its base in California.
