IRCTC also offers internet-based rail reservations via its website and operates a nationwide call center to provide information and assistance to travelers. In addition, it has planned to establish more than 50 multi-cuisine food plazas at major railway stations to enhance passenger convenience, with modern decor and round-the-clock operation. A notable development in 2025 is the launch of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Circuit Bharat Gaurav Train Tour, starting from Mumbai.
