During its near 40 year history, Detroit-based Intrastate Distributors, Inc. (IDI) has grown from a one truck fleet to a major carrier and developer of a wide variety of beverages. IDI operates two facilities, including a 172,000 square foot manufacturing facility and its main facility that opened in January 2010; a 315,000 square foot facility to handle all DSD Distribution of over 1,800 SKU’s to customers throughout Southeast Michigan. The bottling facility not only specializes in co-packing specialty sodas but also bottles for brands such as White Rock, Faygo, and Boylan’s Soda. IDI bottles soda, juice drinks, mineral water, treated water, and reverse osmosis water. In addition, the company bottles its own brands including Towne Club, Kist, and Frostie. IDI’s facilities are used to cross dock several specialty soda brands to ship nationwide. And the company offers comprehensive private labeling and packaging from the bottling facility.
