Intex Recreation Corp. (IRC) is the exclusive sales agent and distributor for INTEX-branded products in the United States and Canada. It serves a broad range of retail formats—including mass market, online retailers, club stores, sporting goods, grocery, toy, housewares and department stores—via direct relationships with the three largest customers and through a network of local distributors. The product lines cover air mattresses, above-ground pools, inflatable pool floats, pool accessories, inflatable boats and kayaks, and related after-sale parts, with consumer sales conducted through Intexcorp.com and supported by a service center with agents in Long Beach, the Philippines and China. 

Based in Long Beach, California, IRC operates as a mid-sized wholesale company with both wholesale and consumer channels. The firm has a history spanning more than five decades and is part of the Intex family of companies, a network of over 50 independently owned entities operating in about 110 countries. All INTEX products are manufactured exclusively in two facilities in China, with in-house quality assurance and control, supported by a firewalled full-service test lab and independent third-party labs to assure safety and compliance.
