Intervention, Inc. is a nonprofit organization incorporated in June 1986 as a 501(c)(3) corporation, providing in-home detention monitoring for criminal justice agencies throughout Colorado. In 1990, it became the first and only nonprofit entity in Colorado to offer private probation services. The organization is based in Lakewood, Colorado, at 12600 West Colfax Avenue, and employs between 51 and 200 people. In 2002, Intervention, Inc. opened its first community corrections program in Jefferson County, becoming the only nonprofit agency in Colorado to provide these services. Currently, it provides community corrections services in Jefferson, Pueblo, Weld, Adams, and Boulder Counties and offers private probation, technology monitoring, UA services, and specialty programs such as Inmate-Outmate and High-Risk DUI (HRD) across Colorado.
