The International Trade Centre (ITC) focuses on developing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises by strengthening the competitiveness of small business exporters through collaboration with partners. It aims to build vibrant, sustainable export sectors that create entrepreneurial opportunities, with particular emphasis on women, young people, and poor communities. It operates in the international trade and development arena as the only international agency dedicated to SME development. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, ITC was established in 1964 as a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization. In May 2026, ITC launched a revamped version of Trade Map, its global trade data and market trends resource.
