The International Institute of New England is a non-profit organization that supports refugees and immigrants through resettlement, education, career advancement, and pathways to citizenship. It serves newcomers in New England via offices in Boston, Lowell, and Manchester, offering services such as family reunification, education, career assistance, and legal support. Founded in 1918 in Lowell, Massachusetts, IINE is one of the region’s oldest and largest providers of services for new Americans. It currently serves about 2,000 refugees and immigrants each year and aims to double that number within five years. In May 2026, the organization participated in the Golden Door Award Gala, where a former client performed Suitcase Stories.
