The Institute for Children, Poverty, and Homelessness (ICPH) is a New York City-based nonprofit focused on policy research about family and child homelessness. Its work draws on field-based practices in education, employment, and social services conducted within family shelters to illuminate public policy questions. ICPH aims to foster informed dialogue on homelessness through research and reports that reach officials, policymakers, advocates, academics, and service providers across the country. Its publications are intended to inform policy discussions and practices at national and local levels. In 2017, ICPH published More Than a Place to Sleep: Understanding the Health and Well-Being of Homeless High School Students.
