INOTEC is an environmental biotechnology and bioremediation company. We combine patented and proprietary concepts in water treatment into site-specific, robust, modular systems using conventional equipment. These systems remove contaminants to levels that exceed current water treatment standards. INOTEC’s patent pending Electro-Biochemical reactor (EBR) technology removes metal and inorganic contaminants from water more completely and cost effectively than competing technologies. The EBR can remove a variety of contaminants faster, and to levels unachievable with conventional biological, chemical or physical technologies, while utilizing conventional equipment. The EBR technology supplies electrons to system microbes using low voltage (3 volts DC) to enhance biochemical processes resulting in improved treatment effectiveness and efficiency. The method is simple, cost-effective and has been successfully demonstrated at several pilot-plant installations.
