Tiny operation Very small design services company with potential for scalable design tooling, prototyping services, or freelance collaboration partnerships to support larger clients.

Strategic fit Possible supplier for photonics and optical design components given proximity to known peers in the optics industry; explore partnerships with regional design and engineering teams.

Market positioning Competing near mid-to-large optics players suggests a focus on specialized or boutique design offerings that could be packaged as high-margin, quick-turn design sprints for startups and scale-ups.

Growth channels Opportunity to target customers looking for agile, low-overhead design support or white-label design services, potentially expanding into project-based engagements with clear ROI.

Expansion potential Geographic and service expansion could be driven by collaborations with established optics firms or by leveraging digital collaboration tools to serve broader markets beyond Union City.
