IMCA-CAT is a synchrotron-based structural biology research facility for industrial macromolecular crystallography aimed at accelerating pharmaceutical drug discovery programs.

In partnership with Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute and located at the Advanced Photon Source synchrotron at Argonne National Laboratory, IMCA-CAT operates a state-of-the-art insertion device beamline for confidential and proprietary macromolecular crystallography experiments.

To meet the demands of the pharmaceutical industry, IMCA-CAT is optimized for ultra high-throughput data acquisition and equipped with state-of-the-art technology to generate the highest quality X-ray diffraction data.
