IFMA Silicon Valley is the San Jose, California-based chapter of the International Facility Management Association, a nonprofit organization serving facility management executives and their staffs with information and education. As part of IFMA’s global network, the chapter connects members locally and through an international community to share knowledge and advance professional practice aimed at creating efficient, sustainable, safe, and humane workplaces. Chartered in 1991, the Silicon Valley chapter is among the largest, with more than 600 members. The chapter supports its members through annual educational events and by helping individuals attain recognized credentials such as the Facility Management Professional (FMP) and Certified Facility Manager (CFM). It operates within the broader facilities services industry and serves a professional community in the San Jose region, contributing to the ongoing development of facility management professional standards.
