Foundry, formerly IDG Australia Pty Ltd, operates as a mid-sized subsidiary of International Data Group in the book and periodical publishing sector. Based in North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, it combines media, marketing technologies, and proprietary data to help technology companies turn ideas into reality. The company’s data-driven approach relies on an owned ecosystem of global editorial brands, awards, and events that inform its offerings for technology marketers. Through integrated media, data, and services, Foundry supports technology companies as they reach audiences and execute marketing initiatives.

Foundry is a wholly owned subsidiary of IDG and participates in a global network within IDG’s tech media, data, research, and marketing services portfolio, with a footprint that includes offices around the world. In March 2025, Regent LP acquired Foundry Co., a development that reflects a change in ownership within the organization’s portfolio.
