Identity, Inc. operates in the individual and family services sector, delivering after-school programs and community activities that build social-emotional, academic, and workforce skills for youth ages 7 to 25. Based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, the nonprofit serves high-need neighborhoods in Montgomery County through six high school-based wellness centers, two community-based youth centers, and more than twenty schools. Programs include family case management, mental health and substance abuse counseling, non-clinical emotional support, and recreation, with an emphasis on engaging parents in their children's education and success.

Identity reports tangible outcomes such as improved school attendance and achievement, better conflict resolution, and increased connection to school, work, and community. It also provides safety-net support to address hunger, homelessness, and despair during times of crisis. A recent development involved a Summer Job Fair in 2026 that connected job seekers with employers, reflecting ongoing expansion of its program portfolio.
