ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) is a nonprofit certification body and a subsidiary of the International Code Council. Based in Brea, California, it conducts technical evaluations and product certifications to verify code compliance for a broad range of built-environment products, including buildings, plumbing, mechanical systems, fuel gas equipment, food-related equipment, and pools and spas. Its work is conducted under ISO/IEC 17065 accreditations from organizations such as ANAB, A2LA, SCC, and JAS-ANZ.

The organization serves manufacturers seeking code approvals and regulators who rely on its evaluations to assess conformity. With a long history and broad acceptance in North America and beyond, ICC-ES operates within the built-environment conformity assessment space and provides testing, inspections, and certification as part of its approach. In April 2026, ICC-ES announced the development of global Acceptance Criteria for structural bamboo in partnership with BASE Bahay.
