Huntley Community School District 158's motto is All Students Always. Located in McHenry and Kane counties of northern Illinois, Huntley 158 serves approximately 8,300 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade and beyond, residing in Huntley, western portions of Lake in the Hills and Algonquin, and surrounding areas. With approximately 1,500 staff members, Huntley 158 is among the largest employers in McHenry County. 

Huntley 158 is known for its rapid growth in the early 2000s and its campus-concept idea in which the district transformed from a one elementary/one high school district to its current five elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school, located on three campuses. In addition, the Reed Road campus houses the district's Early Childhood Center. Huntley 158 also offers a transition program called LIGHT for students with special needs ages 18 to 22.
