The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is a private non-profit animal welfare organization based in Palm City, Florida. It operates as an open admissions shelter that cares for more than 5,000 animals each year and relies solely on private donations. The organization is independent of other humane societies and the Humane Society of the United States, and it does not euthanize animals to make space or on the basis of breed.
