House Spirits Distillery is a small craft spirits producer based in Portland, Oregon. The operation demonstrates its production process to visitors, with an oversized tasting room window and occasional distillery tours that reveal the transformation of grains and botanicals into spirits. It emphasizes authentic, artisanal production carried out by people who are deeply involved in the craft. Its customers are consumers of craft spirits who seek a tangible connection to how products are made and to a local, regional tasting experience. In 2016, the company partnered with the Port of Portland to launch what was described as the world’s first spirits tasting room in an airport.
