Hopkins School is an independent, coeducational day school serving grades 7 through 12 in New Haven, Connecticut. The 108-acre campus overlooks the city, and the school educates a student body of 713. With a history spanning more than 360 years, Hopkins is the third oldest independent school in the United States.
In 2023, Hopkins appointed Matt Cotter as principal, after he had previously served as assistant principal at the school. This leadership change reflects internal succession within the school's administration.
