Hood Packaging Corporation is a mid-sized manufacturer of packaging materials with 23 production facilities across the United States and Canada. Its history stretches back more than a century, beginning in the Jute and Cotton trades and evolving as technology advanced to flexible packaging substrates such as paper, plastic, and woven materials. The company has grown through acquisitions and innovation, integrating operations from firms including Glopak, Bemis, TC Transcontinental, Bonar Packaging, Charleston Packaging, and Southern Bag to broaden its capabilities.

It operates in two divisions, Paper and Plastic, with the Paper division covering 15 locations across the U.S. and Canada to produce flexible paper packaging structures, and the Plastics division operating eight locations for a wide range of packaging structures and applications. Based in Madison, Mississippi, Hood Packaging serves customers in the packaging and containers industry and has undertaken structural changes in recent years, including the closure of its Vancouver paper bag plant and related offices.
