As former athletes, we all grew up wearing and competing in technical apparel, but outside of sports, our needs were very different. We were all very drawn to menswear and streetwear so we thought: How do we create the best of both worlds? How could we create the best possible versions of the clothing we loved? At the time, we all religiously wore Carhartt or Dickies pants. So we started there, we took our pants and said, how could we make this better? We added things like 4-way stretch, sweat-wicking, water-repellency, a hidden stash pocket. From there, Hill City was born.
