The High Value Healthcare Collaborative (HVHC) is a consortium of healthcare delivery systems – founded in 2009 by Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Denver Health, Intermountain Healthcare, Mayo Clinic, and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice (TDI) – working together to improve care, health, and costs of care by identifying, testing, and disseminating best practice care models and payment models. TDI serves as the program management office (PMO) and data convener for HVHC. Since its formation in October of 2009, many other healthcare systems have joined HVHC: Baylor Scott & White Health, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Hawaii Pacific Health, North Shore–LIJ Health System, Providence Health and Services, Sinai Health System, UC San Diego Health System, University of Iowa Health Care, and Virginia Mason Medical Center.
