Healthy Schools Network is a small United States–based nonprofit founded in 1995 that focuses on improving environmental health in learning environments. It combines research with information dissemination, education, coalition-building, and advocacy to ensure classrooms are clean and in good repair for children's health. It manages an EPA-award-winning information and referral clearinghouse and founded and convenes the Coalition for Healthier Schools, linking with hundreds of local, state, and national partners to address school environmental issues. Its work targets schools, families, and policymakers, aiming to identify and remediate environmental problems and to drive policy reforms at federal, state, and local levels. Its priorities include high-performance design and construction for healthy environments, greening existing schools, and environmental public health for children disproportionately affected by environmental exposures. A notable development in 2023 is the launch of an interactive bicycle garden, reflecting the organization's ongoing educational and community engagement efforts.
