Since 1904, Hawaiʻi Gas has been the only franchised gas company in Hawaiʻi. Over the years, we have installed gas pipeline infrastructure and developed a highly skilled workforce on every major island. Hawaiʻi Gas manufactures synthetic natural gas (SNG), blending in renewable natural gas (RNG) and up to 15% hydrogen for its utility customers on O'ahu, and distributes liquefied petroleum gas (LPG/propane) to communities across the state. Gas is a critical part of the fuel mix in Hawai'i, providing a cleaner, lower-cost, and safe alternative for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
