HANA Center is a mid-sized civic and social organization based in Chicago, Illinois. It focuses on empowering Korean American and multi-ethnic communities through social services, community organizing, culture, and education to advance human rights. The center works to support immigrant and Asian American communities by addressing barriers to rights and access through integrated services and advocacy. In the civic and social sector, it has collaborated with national partners such as Nakasec to address policies impacting immigrant families. In 2020 it helped launch a petition with NAPAWF urging officials to stand with the Asian American community against harassment amid the coronavirus pandemic, and in 2021 it launched a 100 Day Campaign to advocate for Citizenship For All and protective actions for immigrant communities as the new administration took office.
